Object Library Uses

The Object Library can be used for two main purposes - exploring Objects and creating Collections.

Wondering how students and educators might use Collections? Here are some ideas;

  • Educators ask students to create a collection of Objects that answers a question
  • Educators supplement a Resource Kit with Objects from other museums
  • Educators create Collections specific to a topic or theme and can share it with other teachers or students
  • Students sythesize their thinking
  • Students keep track of a topic of theme across multiple days of exploring
  • Students and educators look for inspiration

In order to share and access a Collection, students and educators can do the following;

  • Share the URL (access to editing the collection is lost once the browser is closed)
  • Create an account and save multiple collections (access to editing the collection is now available when you are logged in)
