The Object Library can be used for two main purposes - exploring Objects and creating Collections.
Wondering how students and educators might use Collections? Here are some ideas;
- Educators ask students to create a collection of Objects that answers a question
- Educators supplement a Resource Kit with Objects from other museums
- Educators create Collections specific to a topic or theme and can share it with other teachers or students
- Students sythesize their thinking
- Students keep track of a topic of theme across multiple days of exploring
- Students and educators look for inspiration
In order to share and access a Collection, students and educators can do the following;
- Share the URL (access to editing the collection is lost once the browser is closed)
- Create an account and save multiple collections (access to editing the collection is now available when you are logged in)
