Resource Kit Overview

Museums for Digital Learning provides supports to help you create Resource Kits, which are ideal learning resources for students! Teachers will use the Educator Overview provided (by you!) for each Resource Kit to determine if a Resource Kit is right for their classroom, they will then assign the Resource Kit using a shareable link or through Google Classroom.

Templates and videos have been created to help you leverage existing museum educational materials that you have already created, or to create new content. Plus, specific example tools from The Field Museum and History Colorado are used to illustrate applicable uses during different stages of Resource Kit development. You are welcome to copy these documents and use them to support your own Resource Kit creation. Before diving in, watch the MDL Nomenclature video to go through some of the terminology we use on this platform.
